2009 - TPG Quality Management System approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2008

2008 – Energy reviews undertaken to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. Planned carbon usage reduction to be completed by Q1 2010.

2007 – Examples of specialist selective pure gold plating completed on large bespoke items.

2006 - TPG develop “Twickcoat”, a RoHS compliant conversion coating for Zinc Diecasts.

2005 - TPG installs RoHS compliant Electroless Nickel.

2004 - TPG's Technical Manager becomes Chairman of the Institute of Metal Finishing (Southern Branch).

2003 - TPG Quality Management System approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000.

2002 - TPG installs new material handling accumulators for Reel to Reel

2001 - TPG installs RoHS compliant silver passivate process.

2001 - TPG installs semi-automatic degreasing plant to comply with the Solvent Emissions Directive

2000 - TPG develops and implements the process for gold plating fibre optics.

1999 - Inline computer vision inspection equipment installed.

1997 - TPG developed (with supplier) and installed RoHS compliant White Bronze process.

1995 - TPG becomes approved to the International Quality Standard ISO 9002.

1993 - TPG design and build bespoke automatic selective gold plating plant for loose coaxial connector products.

1992 - TPG develop and install Zinc Cobalt (together with Olive Drab or Black) as an alternative to Cadmium.

1986 - TPG become one of the first companies to become registered to the British Quality Standard BS5750.

1984 - TPG design and build bespoke selective gold plating plant for loose coaxial connector products.

1983 - Expand into space industries

1980 - Pender works has complete Effluent Treatment System installed

1975 - First company in UK to install and run Reel to Reel plating lines

1974 - Pender works extended

1972 - Twickenham site expanded again
